Business schools requiring the General Certificate
of Education
In principle, French Grandes Ecoles de Commerce
are open to students with a university diploma of at least two years
of higher studies. But some of them only need the General Certificate
of Education.
The Accès
exam is a common entrance examination. The member schools offer
a 5-year cursus: ESSCA, IÉSEG
and ESDES, the first
two being members of the Conférence
des Grandes Ecoles.
The Sésame
exam gathers seven schools with a four-year program: CESEM
Reims, CESEM
Méditérranée, EBP
France, EPSCI, ESCE,
IFI and SUP
EUROPE CESEC.
Most other business schools are offering a 4-year
program and require a separate entrance examination : EDC,
ESGCI and ESGF, ISEG,
ISG (5-year program),
IPAG, Pôle
Léonard-de-Vinci, etc.
